Just saw The Marvels, absolutely adored it! Iman Vellani is amazing.

Romp is a perfect word for it. I heard speculation from various online reviewers that there was a lot of studio interference in making and cutting it together, which makes me sad for the movie we never got, but happy for the moments that sparkled.
